Who are a couple of your favorite protagonists (or antagonists) in your readings? What made them so memorable? Are there characters you like where the lines are blurred to where you couldn't say whether they were a villain or hero, such as Heathcliff from "Wuthering Heights" or Severus Snape in the "Harry Potter" series?

Kristen | 7 comments One series I love that is rife with amazing protagonists and antagonists is "A Song of Ice and Fire," maybe better known to some by its TV adaptation "Game of Thrones." I love the Lannisters (Cersei, Jaime, and Tyrion). They're all very complex characters and have their moments where they can be absolutely despicable or heroic. If you have a lot of spare time, sit down and read the books. They're long, but the payoff is good for all the character development you don't get from the show.
