Synopsis: Skyler: Dreams . . . they are always the same. People I’ve never known. Places I’ve never seen. At first the dreams were just bedtime stories my nanny told. Now these dreams are pointing me to lives I may be connected to. Lives of beings in a whole other realm. A realm where magic can make or break you, and emotions are illogical . . . discarded . . . forgotten . . . The weak are preyed upon, and even the strong become prey of envious rulers. Why would I want to be part of that? Because I was once a queen until I died, and a god made a deal I could not refused. Well at least I think I was that queen . . .
Kevin: Dreams . . . they are killing my best friend. She is losing sight of what’s real . . . what’s important. Losing focus on what’s right in front of her – me. I fear she has gotten into something she cannot come back from. Something I can't bring her back from. I analyzed her symptoms and there is only one word to describe it. Denial. A refusal to admit the truth. Dreams are easier to hide in when you have her reality. But she is slipping away, giving into the dreams. Her very reality as bad as it might seem is collapsing. I can't stand to watch as her smile fades, so I dive into the fabricated . . . the falsehood that's been driving her slowly insane
