~Write in third person- in past time.
Eg... Melinda drew an Iratze upon her right arm.
NOT... I drew an Iratze on my right arm.

~Absolutely no powerplay, which is determining what happens to someone elses character. You cant say... I pulled out my blade and went at Jullian. I cut his arm and blood started dripping slowly. you have to give other people time to react. You can say... I pulled out my blade and went for Jullians arm. They decided whether their character gets hit or not. At the same time, your character cant be invincible. They have to get hit at sometime.

~No one liner, give us something to work with. Explain what the area around them looks like, the emotions and the feelings of your character.

~Only play with your own characters, not someone else's.

~Keep your swearing to a minimum.

~No text language. eg... How R U also, be mindful of your grammar and spelling. No ones perfect, but just be careful.

~maximum of 5 characters per person. It can be very hard to roleplay with anymore.

~Only graduate or move characters up a grade at allocated times. There will be a chance to do so every six months or so.

~Be patient, we cant all be on all the time and there are many time zones.

~No advertising for other groups.

~you must be above 13 years of age.

~You must have read the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.

~You can not create a character that has already been created by Cassandra Clare. Although, you can be related to them. So you can't be Jace but you can be a Herondale.

~Steer clear of sexual content, if your characters are going to have sex, please do not post it in this group, this is very important!

~And most importantly, have fun!!

The rule says 'you have to have read The Mortal Instruments series'.
Does that include The Infernal Devices as well?

No, it's just the mortal instruments, not the infernal devices as well. :D
We based this group off the mortal instruments, it of course means though that it's in infernal devices as well but you just have had to read the mortal Instruments.
