Lissa walked into the library quietly, still clad in Shadowhunter gear and equipped with weapons. She tied up her bronze hair in a high ponytail, yet it still hung down her back in long curls no matter how high it was tied. Sighing, she did a quick round of the shelves and picked out some books for extra reading, and sat down in one of the many chairs in front of a small table.

Lissa looked up. "Of course," she said politely, "May I ask who you are?" She had seen him somewhere, around the school, but didn't quite know how he knew her name. She shrugged that off, grateful he didn't call her by her real name.

Lissa immediately felt guilty, she hadn't meant for it to come out like that. "I'm sorry," she said timidly, taking his hand, "I just meant to ask what was your name. It's nice to meet you, Andrew." She turned back to her book, biting her lip slightly.
((I'm so sorry I have to leave so soon, but this Aussie needs some sleep early. I'll reply in the morning. Bonsoir! :) ))

Andrew gave Lyssa a smile. "No problem." he said warmly, giving her hand a small squeeze. "Just because I know who you are, doesn't mean you should know who I am. I'm normally found in the weapons room, not the Library. But I needed to check up some things about different types of swords." he explained. "What are you reading?" he asked.
Lissa smiled back at him. "I found a new weapon I quite liked, and I just wanted to check up on different materials. I don't think it is adamas, only seraph blades are crafted from pure adamas. I think it may be silver electrum." She reached into the leg of her boot and produced a black, rectangular stick. She held onto the end, twisted, and it expanded into the form of a fan, with razor-sharp blades threatening on the edge.
((OMR we do, don't we? XD))
((OMR we do, don't we? XD))

"Sure," Lissa said, retracting the fan and handing it to him, "just don't stab someone in the process," she said, laughing. "So, what is your preferred weapon?" she asked.

Lissa took back the fan, concealing it back in her boot. "My gold-electrum whip," she answered. "Do you - er, want to see?" she asked. She prized her whip, it was given to her by her father before he died.

Lissa smiled. "Yes, it would be," she said, laughing, "but next time I catch you in the Weapons Room I'll get you to show me." She lifted up her sleeve slightly, and revealed a snake bracelet that curled around her arm. "Zmey," she whispered, and the emerald eyes of the snake glowed. It expanded in size, and began slithering down her arm, until the whip was reaching the floor, and the end in her hand's grasp. It seemed like it was electrified, humming and flashing with it's inlaid electrum.

Andrew whistled in admiration at the whip when it uncurled. "That is..." he searched for a word "Beautiful and amazing." he finally settled on. He looked at the snake head. "Hmm, we have the same colour eyes," he told the snake, as if it were alive. "Where did you get such a lovely weapon?" he asked.
((Cathy!! Oh my gosh i'm laughing so hard right now, ny cousin wants to know whats gotten over me.XD))

((I was struggling for words -.- don't laugh Cathy XD))
Lissa looked down, fingering her whip. "My father gave it to me," she said, "on my ninth birthday. He said it was once Charlotte Branwell's, as somewhere along the line the Clearhearts descended into the family tree." She retracted the whip, and it curled around her arm as a bracelet once more.
((I have to go - reply in the morning :)))

Lissa smiled. "Thanks," she said quietly. When he held out his family ring, she reached out half way to touch it, but shrank back. "Uhm, may I - may I take a look at it?" she asked tentatively. She didn't want touch it if he wasn't comfortable with that.

Lissa looked at his ring. " That's beautiful, Andrew," she said, and she took off hers to let him see. "Here's mine, it stands for the Clearheart family." She explained, for hers had a C as well.

Lissa tangled a finger in a lock of hair, thinking hard to what her father had once taught her. "The metal is rose-gold, and the little gemstone inside the heart is blue topaz, I'm pretty sure." She said. All the symbols on her ring stood for something, not just for the sake of hitting it there. "You see, the blue topaz inside the heart is carved so that it looks like water. That stands for 'clear' and then the heart, well, obviously, 'heart'. and the C is for the first letter of Clearheart." She explained.

Lissa's cheeks bloomed with pale pink blush; she'd caught him staring at her. She delicately placed her ring back on her finger. "Yeah sure," she laughed, "I didn't think you'd be very interested in this type of stuff, you know, examining weapons," she said, an amused smile on her lips.

Lissa choked up laughing. "You'd make a seriously good girl, Andrew," She said, her jade-green eyes smiling with her. "That's amazing - the Tiger's Claw, I mean," she said thought out loud, her voice full of wonder. "Well, the fan works as a sort of boomerang, as well." She said, pulling out her fan again. She expanded it and threw it gracefully, and it flew across the room and back into her hand. "Like so," she demonstrated, "except I don't think it's very good to throw weapons around in a library, so yeah," she said sheepishly, running a hand through her hair and shoving the retracted fan back in her boot.

"Oh you flatter me Darling." Andrew said, when Lyssa said he'd make a good girl, he fluttered his eyelashes at her. He was glad he could make her laugh. He was even more impressed when she liked and seemed interested in the weapon he described, one of the signs of a true shadow hunter. He watched in amazement as she demonstrated what the fan weapon could do. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I'm not sure, Japanese perhaps..." he said musingly. |Then, laughed when Lyssa said it wasn't a good idea to throw weapons in the Library. "Probably not, the Headmistress would most likely kill us if she saw us doing that!" He flicked through some more pages, but Cathy wasn't sure where the weapon came from. "Hmm, maybe we should go to the training room later, if you have an hour off and experiment a bit." he suggested.
Lissa laughed at his 'girlness'. She flicked through a book, then fluttered its pages shut. "We could go now, if you like," she offered, as she was tired of extra reading and wanted to do something else. She quickly packed up her books, putting them back in their place among the shelves.

"Great." he said, closing his own book and putting it away. "I can show you my sword then." he walked to the door and held it open for Lyssa.
Rose walked into the library, thinking about what she was saying with Christian, she needed to study so she could pass her exams and become a shadowhunter. She walked out and pulled out a book on downworlders, before taking a seat at a table.

Only a page in Rose's mind started wandering to battle techniques, and her conversation with Christian not too long ago. When she realised she was distracting herself from studying she wished she could throw the book across the library in frustration, but it probably wasn't the smartest idea. She looked behind her to see a girl, Ella she thought it was looking at some books.

Rose couldn't deny that she was surprised when Ella came to sit next to her. From what she had seen Ella was quite a shy girl who tended to stay away from her, "I'm totally fine. Just living the torturous life of someone who needs to actually study." She said, a small grin on her face.
