Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban discussion

Team Harry and Cho. (I don't like the way he dumped her, though).
Team Sirius. An AMAZING god-father.

Team Harry and Ginny. I didn't like Cho, i'm glad he dumped her.

Harry and Ginny. Cho was annoying to me.

Team Sirius, he was one of my favorite characters.

I don't like Harry and Cho. She is too confusing, I felt like she kissed Harry because of Cedric.

I don't like Harry and Ginny. Like where the heck the feeling come from? It was all of the sudden and the feeling happened. They also live together, they are like family.

Harry and Cho is no from me, I do not like Cho. She is just so annoying, I do not know about you, but Cho... NO, NO, NO.

Definitely team Lupin, he was such a great man that taught Harry what love really is, but Sirius was an amazing, cool, fantastic god-father.

I don't like Harry and Cho buuuut... Harry and Ginny either, it was so sudden ! Well if I had to choose I'd say Harry and Ginny though.

And totally team Lupin. Sirius is super cool and all but... Lupin guys, he's just amazing and so nice and such a great man ! He's one of the best characters in my opinion.

I felt that the build up to a relationship was better with Harry and Cho, but then for whatever reason JK sabotaged them before they had a chance with the weird 'I want to date the guy who was with my ex when he died' just so she could pull Harry's feelings for Ginny out of literally nowhere.

I actually like Lupin just a little bit more than Sirius, but that's just because I loved the relationship they were able to have as he taught Harry how to create a Patronus. Harry spent so little actual time with Sirius that for me it was more the idea of having a godfather than the reality of Sirius actually developing a relationship with him (I realize that was beyond their control).

Harry and Ginny, I hated Cho she would just cry and cry she was sooo annoying, I always wanted Harry to go for Ginny, there're so cute together!

can i pls choose harry and draco?? i don't like ginny or cho with him

Team Harry and Ginny-Cho was nice for a while, and the quidditch match in PoAZ was cute but she got really annoying in GoF.
So goodwill to Harry and Ginny.

Sirius or Lupin was hard, but I had to go Lupin after a CLOSE mental contest. Lupin always seemed to me slightly better and more knowledgeable and helpful.

I love Harry and Ginny, but I also think there was probably too much hatred directed towards Cho. Was she confusing and a bit annoying to read? I mean yeah, but she was also going through quite a traumatic experience. Plus, it's not like Harry was as understanding as he should've been.

I believe I liked Sirius a little more when I was first reading the books as a teenager, but over the years my appreciation of Lupin has grown, and I think I probably like him just a bit more now.

I agree. In the 5th book JKR definitely didn't want Harry and Cho to work out in anyway whatsoever so she basically tried to get the readers to dislike Cho.

Team Harry and either Hermione or Luna. I don't care for Harry and Ginny's forced relationship at all.

And I prefer Lupin to Sirius.

I'm not a fan of Cho really because the lack of personality and character she had. She was very confused about her feelings for Harry due to Cedric's death and I don't believe she had much feelings for Harry at all. I think she was run more by grief rather than true intimate feelings. As far as Ginny, I feel meh towards the relationship with her and Harry. Like many have said, it was quite sudden and she is pretty shy. So I guess I am neither team.

As far as Lupin or Sirius, I think I will have to go with Lupin based off my memory of Sirius in the books after this. I remember Sirius being extremely mopey and whiney (but my memory could have failed me) whereas Lupin was such a fantastic character. A truly great mentor to Harry and sacrificed his life to protect the wizarding world. I find him incredibly selfless and kind.

I agree with you about the compatibility between Harry and Hermione. I'm pretty sure JK herself said they would have been a better pairing? Correct me if I'm wrong!

Team Harry and Ginny, the two of them were so cute together! I felt like Cho just got with Harry because Cedric died and he had a crush on her.

Team Sirius- He was my favorite character and an amazing godfather! I wish he was my godfather.

Neither, really, as far the Hinny-vs.-Harry & Cho thing goes. Harry and Ginny's relationship felt just too rushed. In a way, I'm a little more towards Cho and Harry, as I think the relationship could've maybe-sorta-kinda worked if Cho was a little more emotionally stable at the time.
I do like Lupin just a tiny bit better because I relate to him more (any of my Marauders friends out there know that he was a bit of a nerd back in the day.) Sirius was such a great father figure to Harry though, so I do admire him for that.

If I'm not mistaken, she went on to marry a Muggle. Not sure if she stayed for the Battle of Hogwarts though. You'll have to do a bit of digging on that one yourself :) I'm sure there's plenty on the HP Wiki about her!

Harry and Ginny - why is this even a question? Ginny has been in love with Harry since she laid eyes on him, and she's awesome. Yes, for Harry it took longer to get there and some people think it was too sudden and forced, but the truth is that he realised he did love her, and that's that. Harry and Cho was no good; she had not moved on from Cedric and dove into something she wasn't emotionally ready for. And lets admit, she was a little annoying...

I don't really understand what you mean by team Lupin or Sirius? If you're talking about which one I like better - definitely Lupin! I fell in LOVE with him in the Prisoner of Azkaban, he was my favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher (obviously), but just as a character I love him.

Harry and Ginny - way better couple.

i don't like harry with ginny because ginny is ron's fricking sister and that shouldn't be a thing because now harry is literally related to both ron and hermione.

Team Harry and Cho for being better written than Harry/Ginny.
Harry and Cho was a typical school romance that failed. Harry and Ginny is supposed to be a big, true love, but we barely see them interact with each other and basically there is next to nothing in the books. To this day I don't know what I am supposed to like about Ginny and Harry's romance when there is almost nothing there?

And Ginny characterisation was annoying later. After the first half of the sixth book I wondered who else will be vomiting favourable comments on Ginny about what an extremely beautiful girl she is!

Cho was really annoying in my opinion. I think Ginny really grounds Harry.

Team Harry and Ginny. Cho is still a good character, and I enjoy seeing her hardship, but Ginny is such an independent character and it is realistic to fall for a friend's sibling.

Team Lupin. Still love Sirius but Lupin is better because his story is just an incredible story and his struggles as well as feeling that he needs to protect Harry, Hermione, The Weasleys and more. I get that Sirius is very similar in these things but I feel that Lupin as a little more to him.

Team Harry and Ginny. Ginny is SUCH A BAD-ASS, and Cho treated Harry and Hermione awfully. Also, Cho stands up for her friend when she rats out Dumbledore's Army.

Team Lupin...no, Sirius...no, Lupin...no, Sirius! Aaaaarrrgghh! I CAN'T DECIDE! Sirius is such a great uncle who is always there for Harry, but then again, Lupin gives Harry chocolate!
