Clean up that to-read list! The person with the most points wins. Winners get to help design the next challenge (if they would like to opt out they may).

This Challenge will start on May 1, 2017 and End on May 31, 2017

You may read as many or few or the categories you wish. The person with the highest score wins.

1 Point

Any book that has been placed on your to-read list before May 1, 2017
A book recommended by a friend
Start a series on your to-read list
Book you own
A standalone on your to-read list

2 Points

A sequential book on your to-read list
A book that has been on your to-read list the longest
Book you borrowed on your to-read list
A used book you got on your to-read list

3 Points

A book on your to-read list by your favorite author (or the latest book they published)
Finish a series on your to-read list
A book starting with a letter in SPRING (5 bonus points if you complete all letters)
Read a book you have started (before May 1, 2017) but never finished

Will award 10 bonus points to any person who competes all the tasks

Will award 5 points for a series of 3 or more books started and completed during the challenge

Scoring

If your book meets multiple categories the highest point value one will be chosen. That number will be multiplied with the value corresponding with the number of pages in the general rulesYou will also find all the rules

Read 0-4 books per month: Feather Duster
Read 4-8 books per month: Housekeeper's Assistant
Read 8 or more books per month: White Glove Master

Yes it is. You will need to post all your completion posts there. I will also be updating your points there.

I will give it a go. I read more than 8 books a month. Not sure how I will do as I am in several challenges so hopefully some will fit in more than one challenge.

I have two questions

Do I have to start reading the books in May? I figure I have to finish them by May 31. Just wonder if I can start any now.

If a book starts with the letters in SPRING, may I eliminate the words, THE, A and AN?

So An Insider's Story would start with I?
The Start of Summer would start with S?
A Plague of Doves would start with P?

Only the finish date counts which MUST be during the challenge

And the, a and an are eliminated

for the category "Read a book you have started (before May 1, 2017) but never finished" does that include the book I'm currently reading? or is it only books i dnfed?

I will accept currently reading because the question doesn't specify, but dnfed book will also be accepted

Another question. (sorry, I have so many questions, haha)

Are the 4 or 5 posts with just the letter R supposed to be there? Are they like important or was it just a glitch? (sorry if this seems like a dumb question or anything)
