NZ Intermediate School Librarians discussion

When I was cataloguing this book I put a "Love Story" genre sticker on it's spine. But then I took it home and read it and I realised it's not a romance at all! It's a dark, gritty, and disturbing read about a 17 year old girl who is struggling with both amnesia and over protective parents. It definitely belongs in the Young Adults collection and it now sports the Realistic Fiction/Relationships genre sticker.
I really enjoyed it and it has some great twists.
This will appeal to mature readers, like John Green fans, and would fit well into a girls high school library (though it's going to popular at my Intermediate - I've spoken to a few classes about it and it has over 20 Reserves on it now).
