Dale | 14 comments So... thoughts? Who's excited? Who thinks it will be a letdown? I'm up in the air on this one: I think the casting of Tom Hanks is brilliant, but really... can it work? Or will Eggers' particular brand of fantastic prose be lost in the paranoid world domination by faux good (but actually sinister) company?

I'm exited about this movie, but I haven't read the book yet and I need to do that first... I think It'll be good.

I really liked the movie, but I haven't read the book. BookishBoy, you took the words right out of my mouth! I saw it with my sister, too, and I wanted to throw our phones out the car window!

Julia | 69 comments I read the book after watching the movie and was deeply disappointed. I despised Mae's character. Emma Watson made her slightly more interesting in the movie, but I didn't understand her morals in either the book or movie. I read the book hoping to understand Mae better and was left feeling empty.
