Great list Vanessa. I'm reading a Melissa Olson book right now. I got it from Netgalley and didn't realize that it was a continuation of Scarlett Bernard but is called a new series name. So far I'm not lost and everything is explained, so, so far so good, even though it isn't the first.
I'm of course going to try for crazy bee in the challenge. :-) I always have so many old TBRs to get to. Will try to get a list together soon.
Part 1- Fantasy genre only, read a book that has
✓1. 1 pt Marked; Vampire book, 1 pt spring scene, plays a part in the book. Or a mess.
✓2. 2 pt The Legend of Eli Monpress;
S-P-R-I-N-G in the title, author name or series. 1pt extra just in title or name.
✓3. 1 pt Z, A PNR or UF that has a major change (living), growth, of one of the main character.
✓4. 1 pt Firewalker 2010; Continuing a series. Read a 2nd book in a "to finish" series and get 2 points for each book after the first.
Part 2- Spring theme read from any genre a book that
✓5. 2 pt Simple Jess, Storm of Visions Flowers, the cover or in the title, and/or storm or rain. Extra point 2 of these.
6. spring festival, equinox ritual, planting or flower cultivation.

I have this one on my TBR pile as well but wanted to finish the Scarlet Bernard trilogy first just in case.
Yep, that's the one. It starts pretty exciting from the start and explains pretty well what is going on. I am wondering how this is a new series and might go back to the first, Dead Spots, to see.

1. The first word of our group says vampire, read a vampire book, 1 extra point if it has a spring scene on the cover or spring plays a part in the book. Or if they have to clean some sort of mess.
Marked 1 pt.
Some Girls Bite 1 pt.
2. You can find S-P-R-I-N-G letters in the title, author name or series. etc..., extra point if the letters are in just the title or name.
3. A PNR or UF that has a major change, growth, of one of the main character. Example, finding ones abilities, shifting, magic, etc... Not a death like being change into a vamp or shifter though, it has to come within. Or the character turns over a new leaf.
4. continuing a series that you put down and meant to come back to. Clean the shelf of the series. Read a 2nd book in a "to finish" series and get 2 points for each book after the first.
Part 2- Spring theme read from any genre a book that
5. Has Flowers on the cover or in the title, alternatively a storm or rain. Extra point if it has meets 2 of these.

7. Has been on your TBR for over a year, extra point if it has been on you TBR over 5 years, extra 2 points if it has been there 10.
Magic Bites 1 pt. (been on my tbr 2 years)
8. A mess, has a mess that has to be cleaned up. This can be a murder that has to be covered up, body buried etc... Or a mistake that needs to be mended. A messy eating, feeding, battle...
1 pt if you can get one from ever category in part 1 or 2, 3 pts if you get both parts and all 8 categories filled.

I'm almost finished. I put it down and came back to it. Really it is quite good but I think the beginning was slower for me because I didn't know the players. You definitely should finish Scarlet Bernard as there are a lot of spoilers. In fact, you probably should read her Boundary Witch series too because there are spoilers for that series too. I actually don't mind spoilers and they sometimes push me to read a book because I want to know what exactly happened. That is definitely the case for this book. I know I'm going to the other two series and checking them out after I finish.
So we have only a little over two weeks left. Let us know what you got done.

So today was the last day to read for this. I'll try to update tomorrow. I'm going on vacation and packing so don't know if I'll get to it for certain and might have to do it on my phone. I really don't like to update on my phone.
