Tatsuya, or Ki-te as most of the occupants of building 13 called him, laid completely sprawled on the breakroom couch. To be honest, he hadn't moved from that spot since the early morning when he was forced to arrive on time for work. The only reason he was here was that he was related to the warden after all. He had no true qualifications and it was a shock that he was even still alive. Ki-te had his eyes closed with locks of his hair falling into his face. He was sleeping quite peacefully, his body relaxed, a nice breeze from the AC keeping him cool but not cold. It was optimum sleeping conditions, that is until he stirred at the sound of approaching footsteps. He hoped they would just leave him alone today. He didn't have the energy to bother with anyone. He never did but today was especially special since he hadn't bothered to eat. The food was just too far away and he couldn't be bothered to stand let alone walk the distance. If only he lived in a box where he could reach everything he would ever need with little to no effort.

Ki-te's eyes opened part way, enough for his dark gaze to squint at her. His expression was as blank as it usually was. He wasn't an overly expressive person; it was hard to read what was on his mind, impossible even. However, he didn't hide what he thought and occasionally took the effort to speak his mind.
He peered at Yoi but soon after closed his eyes again when he noticed her cheer face. Sparkling, she was too bright. How could she do that? It looked to be exhausting. Being in her presence was nearly overwhelming. How could she stand being so bright and yet so dark? Too many extremes in this place. Well, there was nothing normal about anyone who worked or are inmates here. All he wanted was a simple, quiet life. "I'm imprisoned here," he murmured, turning his head a bit to look up at the ceiling, "an ordinary inmate.... if only I were an inmate..." A cell would be an ideal living space, food could be brought, there was a bed, a toilet, and sink... Listless.

Ki-te wasn't really offended by her comment, he never was. Pathetic or not, he did what he wanted without allowing anyone else to effect him. Not many could. In a way, it probably made him quite impressive. At least, that's what he occasionally thought. When he felt her shadow over hi, he peeked open his eye to look at her. Too bad his eyes didn't have any filters, she was still rather bright but he noticed the food and how she intended to feed him. "I am lacking in any criminal motivation," he stated and lifted his hands to clasp her wrist, looking up at her with his big, blackish-grey eyes. "Angel," he praised, looking more like a begging dog than the cat he usually was. He was rather shameless in accepting the food she offered and didn't feel like he was dying any longer. To be truly listless, it seems that he must have a sufficient intake of nutrients. How disappointing.

Ki-te looked at her with an intensity that didn't really befit him but showed how earnest he was. Enough to make up for his -still- rather bland facial expression. "Skipping taxes would take away from my ability to laze around," he said with a slight furrow of his brows, "they wouldn't leave me alone," he murmured dreadfully. The contradictive thing about Ki-te was the fact he was very serious and passionate about being listless, enough to go out of his way to ensure he will have an ease free day. He chewed and swallowed the food she shoveled into his mouth. He wasn't big on food, especially food that took an effort to eat but since he was being fed, those efforts weren't significant. It didn't mean chewing wasn't a chore, if only there was a device to allow one to chew automatically without any strain. Or pre-chewed food. Like a baby bird.
"Fallen angel," he agreed. He'd heard some whispers, those he bothered to listen to about her treatment of the prisoners. "You shine with light and crimson... exhausting," he muttered before eating some more food she fed him.

Ki-te hummed, it was a shame, maybe he should 'accidentally' lock himself in one of the cells... maybe one of the prisoners would assist him. Some escaped quite often after all. He was probably placed in this building due to their tendencies to escape. Teach him a lesson or something but they've been rather nice to him. They either let him be or help him out. It gets a little weird when people pet his head but he isn't going to complain.
"Godly rules are exhausting to follow constantly," he muttered thoughtfully, "nice to see your shine darken slightly. It would be rather overwhelming otherwise," he mused. If she was constantly bright he wouldn't be able to stand to be around her for too long. However, he saw nothing wrong with being a fallen angel. Lucifer was one and he was punishing wrongdoers in hell, exactly what she was doing here. Her commit was truly commendable. He could never amount to anything after all. Her hard work allowed him to laze off even more.

Ki-te said nothing in response. He doubted on their easiness to follow. If it were so easy, then why was there even sins or the need to cleanse oneself from them. It didn't matter though, not to him anyway. He moved to lay his arm over his eyes to block out the light a bit. He was now full enough of food, it made him drowsy. What a wonderful feeling. He was beginning to doze off when she spoke again, drawing him from his potential slumber. "I will surely drown," he decided. It did not mean he didn't want a drink, but what was there to drink? Would it be troublesome to consume? It would be easier just to leave it until he was in desperate need of water. However, there was someone here, now offering it to him... what a predicament. "Water would be nice," he finally said and did move slowly to get up but froze with a blank expression. His body had fallen asleep thus resulting in unpleasant tingles from their awaken from numbness. Eventually, he sat up and propped his chin up on his elbow resting on the armrest.

Ki-te's eyes drifted close as he waited, feeling himself slowly drift off, enough so that his head almost fell from his hand. He jerked awake before his head fell and blinked sleepily. What a trial. He usual, tired eyes turned to land on her once more. He noticed the glass and slowly shifted his weight so he could take the glass without falling. He clasped it with both hands, looking at the glass for a few moments blankly but lifted it to take a small sip. After swallowing it, he lifted his gaze to give her another intense look. However, it was difficult to tell since his facial muscles didn't move at all but it seemed brighter. "Fresh spring water, thank you." He knew it was just normal water but it was wonderful for his parched throat. He was more thirsty than he thought and drinking water wasn't as hard as milkshakes. He then lowered the glass to give his arms a rest then eventually took another sip.

Ki-te tilted his head up at her question, his head dropping to one side as he thought. He blinked a few times, resting the glass of water on his lap. A camera guard? Security, watching the surveillance screens, needing to call in anything suspicious which is often in this building. Needing to stay awake? "Impossible," he decided. He was constantly seconds from passing out. If he was placed in that sort of setting, he would simply sleep all day. He would always wake up to the sleep tingles. The horror. He lifted the glass to take another sip and then back down and rested against the back of the couch, rather drained of energy. "I need to marry rich."

Ki-te looked at her, "I will have to make them fall in love with me," he stated bluntly. It would be a trying task and he didn't know if it was even possible, but to live an ease free life he would do it. To have a listless existence, he couldn't go out and have a job so he'd money, but he'd need someone to be able to take care of him and do the housework as well. The obvious conclusion was to marry rich. Ki-te looked at his drink as he thought about it. He took a brief sip before he spoke again, "then it will have to be a guy," he reasoned. A girl wouldn't want a deadbeat guy like him, it was nearly impossible. He would have to settle for a guy.

Ki-te looked at her, "men can do housework too. A male housewife would be a suitable partner. They'd be able to carry me with ease," he figured and took another small sip. He looked very nonchalant, like that fact he'd be married to a dude. Well, he never did care about anyone's sex. He would have to find a rare man or train them himself. Ki-te was confident it could be done though but hopefully, they would find him instead of the other way around. He wasn't going to meet anyone here after all. Well, the possibility was unlikely. He took the last sip of water, placed the glass down onto the coffee table and melted back into the couch.

((I'm tempted to make a little rich guard now XD.))
Ki-te looked at her, "higher probability they'd have a difficult time," he replied. He recalled a friend at school, he had been a nice guy, tall, liked sweets and took good care of him. He had been ideal wife material but they went their separate ways after high school. "In the end, sex doesn't matter much to me," he stated though didn't move from his lounged position on the couch. He was lucky enough to be helped by some of the escapees' in this building. They sometimes carried him about, sometimes a guard would find him on the train, going around for the third time. Ki-te wasn't a fast walker, slow and relaxed, using as less energy as he can which meant he sometimes didn't make it in time before the doors to the train closed again. Every day was a task.
((xD))
((xD))

((We could do Ryoko and your charrie too. Even if I'm about to sleep.))
Ki-te looked at her, blinking a bit but his gaze didn't follow her as she left. That would require him to move too much after all and he'd become one with the couch. "Women working here..." he mused, thinking about it. Everyone that worked here was strong, even if they weren't physically. Well, all except for him. It wouldn't be surprising to find a girl that could toss him around like a ragdoll. He just hoped for height, he enjoyed sleeping while he was carried around. He was used to be held dangling. Piggybacks wouldn't be too bad though. "Yes," he agreed and closed his eyes.
((Did we figure out how they'd be meeting? xD))

Ki-te hummed, knowing he should be working as well but no one was expecting anything from it. It was an ideal situation to work with for him. "I'm good. Thank you for supplying me necessary things for survival," he said, his tone bland but he was grateful. Not too many of the guards acknowledged him, which he was fine with, it just got a bit lonely. Who would have known seclusion was saddening.
((Mhmmm, well she wouldn't need to crush anything, she probably would just need to walk by his cell.))

((oh okay makes sense. Sorry about the misunderstanding on my part. I created his cell if we want to do it there?))
((Shall we move Ki-te to the train? I put it recreation area... because why not))

((You should probably post first for Ryoko https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
but I'll post with Ki-te for the other. I was thinking the train because I thought it would the funniest thing for Tatsu to see Ki-te trying to leave the train and having the door shut on his face cause he was too slow xD That alright?))
