Hijikata sighed as the door ripped off its hinges. That was valuable! He couldn't seem to get it in her head how valuable things were. He stood and stretched, walking out to meet her. Poor thing. He pitied her.

Hijikata stared at her, temporarily disabling her power. "If you want to get out for recreation, you should really submit a formal request for my accompaniment. Not tear your door away. You might have injured somebody." He placed a hand on her shoulder. I suppose I can guide you while your cell is repaired."

He sighed, looking like he was just barely tolerating her attention. He was not her father. He wasn't old enough to be, he was sure, and... Well, he supposed it didn't hurt. "If you go out all the time, there's more of a chance that people will get hurt. I prefer you wait until I arrive."
There was a notion to lock her up over a crippling drop, so if she broke out, she couldn't get anywhere.

He smiled lightly. "But you break all the toys and games we try to send," he reminded lightly. "Maybe we could play some chess or checkers or something." If he kept his eyes on her, she'd be okay...

He tried to think. "Maybe you could play computer games, but I don't want to make a mistake and have you destroy thousands of yen worth of property," he pointed out, tapping his chin methodically. "What sort of people did you want to talk to? And what stuff?"

He smirked at her. "I don't know. Will you behave? Will you not curse at the person you talk to?" He was teasing.

He smirked. "Well, if you promise not to," he said, seeming to disregard her upset tone, "I suppose I can take you to the cafeteria, and you can sit with some others."

He scowled, a vein throbbing on his temple. "The best friends are made over a good meal," he pointed out, "your mouth an talk and eat." He was just trying to be nice!

He sighed heavily, then stifled a yawn. "Okay, okay. Let's just get going. You're making me hungry."

He was totally going to just have to show her, then. He patted her arm lightly. Let's get going, shall we?" he checked, making sure she walked alongside him.
