Interesting trivia about hummingbirds and cardinals do not go past our area to the west and bluejays are not in ID where my daughter lives nor cardinals.

Hummingbirds like flowers and insects. We certainly have insects but no flowers in May and sometimes not even June yet the hummingbirds are here. We do put out hummingbird feeders.
Sometimes I come across simple facts that I never knew and which (to my surprise) I never wondered about.
I thought that this thread might draw some interest.
