Ruth I read and enjoyed To Serve Them All My Days many years ago after seeing a television adaptation.

Barbara Like Ruth, I read To Serve Them All My Days and really enjoyed it. I've been meaning to read some of his other books, but haven't done so yet.

Lisa (violaashford) | 8 comments I read most of his books over and over again when I was a teenager and in my twenties. The series on TV were also great. My favorite is the God Is An Englishman series.

I also know someone who actually knew RF and really liked him. RF is regarded as a romantic novelist but he wrote non-fiction histories as well. After visiting Devon often, I can see why he was inspired by the glorious countryside!
