Do you think that Lorraine should have started talking to Michael again? I don't. He seems like he might lose it if she tries to leave him again.

She never stopped until she saw him with another woman.....

I thought Lorraine was going straight once she re-committed to her husband but the drama is only beginning.

Yeah, me too. I guess jealousy will get you every time. She should have stopped while the going was good. Now her husband has been shot but something seems fishy about that whole thing. I am expecting a twist.

Peter is very PSYCHO"
I cannot believe what happened to Ron because of his craziness.

OMG! Yes, it was a tornado. I cannot believe who Big Poppa was! Peter was out of control. I cannot believe the lengths that he was willing to go to get Jerome back. I guess Michael wasn't as crazy as I thought. lol

What were you the most surprised about at the ending of the book? Were left with any unanswered questions?

I thought Lorraine was going straight once she re-committed to her husband..."
I was sick when it dawned on me that it was Lorraine's husband.....big poppa.
Peter got his just desserts,; a swimming expedition without the likelihood of survival.
Michael had issues but not like Peter

I never suspected Lorraine's husband until the hospital scene and the doctor's file on him was read.

None of them....they were all guilty in some aspect of ruining someone else's life. Peter was my most definitely disliked character.

Me either. I did not see that coming.

Egypt was somewhat likable but she wasn't really a main character in this book. I agree about Peter.

It was no longer their place since she tried to end it with him. She did make a promise to Michael but I'm not sure if she was in a position to make that type of promise.
Were you surprised that Michael and Lorraine ended up together at the end? I was. I never thought that the story would end that way.

With Micheal's neurotic tendencies, I would be afraid of what he would do to me if I wanted to leave him.

Yeah, I agree. I don't think that he can be trusted either.

Yes, I have read a few books where that was the main focus also. This one was not over the top and did not get into all the gory details.
