Something to say about this month's book that just can't wait until the hangout? This is the place for it!

I'll admit to having no idea what to expect going into the Incorruptibles, but the positive blurbs on the back of the book by some authors whose work I enjoy has my hopes up.

Any of you familiar with this series or author John Hornor Jacobs' other books?

Red Dog (red_dog) | 65 comments My answer is 'no' and 'no', but I have to say that three chapters in, I'm quite enjoying The Incorruptibles.

Got to say, I enjoyed it, so thank you Literally Geeky for bringing me a book I wouldn't otherwise have seen!

The problems with the title - we touched on it briefly in the hangout. Pluralising an adjective is ... not done. Though, yes technically Incorruptibles isn't a pluralised adjective; it's transformed into a plural noun since Incorruptibles is kind of the nickname of Fisk and Shoe, much like the use of The Untouchables for Elliot Ness and co. I still don't like it.

Maybe I'd be happier if Fisk had told Shoestring "they bring a knife, you bring a gun! That's the Ruman way!!!"
