Looks like I will be joining for two books this month. :-)

I started today. I love the banter between him and Leif about his old speak. Had me laughing again. Just at the beginning. No one likes Thor, what about his Marvel presentation. Who can't love that.

I kind of zoned out during some of the 2nd half of the book, like the battles. They were just a little too drawn out for re-read. The humor is also a bit lost here or a least further between. Still it is a great read in my opinion and one of the best UF series out there. Still love Oberon as one of the best side kicks.

This book continues Atticus's story begun in the first of this series. It's a solid novel with an entertaining plot and plenty of action and humor. Nevertheless, it gets only four stars rather than five because the novel doesn't advance what is happening in Atticus's life. There is no significant change in Atticus's life from the end of book one to the end of book two.
