Go out and get the P&V. Mcduff is great, but P&V is standard.
What's the difference between McDuff and P&V? I found the P&V very funny but I'd like to take a second pass with a different translation, probably McDuff or Garnett based on this thread (2012):https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I am hearing equal praises for both.
I am looking for the one which has an upper hand in readability and faithfulness to original Dostoyevsky-ian text.
