Not much to note for all of Elayne's stuff. She's still trying to win the crown. All while pregnant. Aviendha is forced to leave.
We finally shift back to Rand and some interesting things going on there.
First Loal's mother and fiancee show up with his teacher, and he's very abruptly married.
Then a huge army of Trollocs attack. When Rand embraces the power, Lews Therin takes over and performs new weaves we've never seen. Giant fire weaves as well as a smaller variant of the traveling gate he calls "Death Gates"
Logain is there still and copies Rand, and they just barely thwart the attack.
Afterwards, Lews Therin refuses to let go and seems to plan to kill "himself" by taking in too much power. Finally Rand convinces him to wait until the last battle.
We get news that Rand is supposed to meet the Daughter of the Nine moons. Except we know she's "missing" because she's with Mat, and that Suroth is a darkfriend. So this has to be some kind of trap.

Lan wants to march to the final battle and surprisingly, Nynaeve agrees without any argument.
It turns out there is good reason why. She puts him as far from his destination as possible while still taking him to the borderlands like she promised.
She also has gone ahead to a few locations to spread the word of what he's doing, and to attempt to rally the remnants of his people to go with him. She made him promise he'd take on followers, and she means to make him keep that promise it seems.

The trolloc fight was awesome, just shows that Lewis Therin is at another level with use of one power.
Logain also copies Rand weaves, before that he informs Rand that Taim is creating another tower within black tower. I am now mostly sure that Taim is a dark friend or a forsaken.
I think this the first time we get an Loail pov , and it was really good.
The sea folk part was when I became disinterested in what was going on.
Yeah I enjoyed the Loail POV too. I think it might be the only time it happens..but I could be wrong.
