I love Gary Larsons sense of humor and some of the cartoons in this book had me laughing out loud...
However the cartoon that showed several folk rushing out the doors of a frontier saloon while one was thrown out the window was unclear to me. I did notice that one of the "steeds" hitched up outside was a bear.
Was the joke supposed to be that a REALLY tough cowboy was inside doing the throwing? Or was it that the guy going through the window had ridden in on the bear?

I guess I just missed the joke.
