This looks interesting:
Africa 39 (paperback + ebooks are available)
From the Hay Festival page about the collection: "Africa39 is a Hay Festival and Rainbow Book Club Project which has selected and now celebrates 39 of the best African south of the Sahara writers under the age of 40. It was launched in UNESCO’s World Book Capital, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, in October 2014."

An Elegy for Easterly: Stories by Petina Gappah
The short story collection I am hoping to read in the next month:
What It Means When a Man Falls from the Sky by Lesley Nneka Arimah
A couple of others:
Say You're One of Them by Uwem Akpan. A lot of these stories were published by The New Yorker but do not know if they are still available for reading online.
The Granta Book of the African Short Story edited by Helon Habila
