I was following Seven Brandies but it got to be a little too ridiculous for me. I will have to finish reading it some day.
Ridiculous! It used every plot device known to JAFF -- except I think he missed the one where Elizabeth is a Fitzwilliam raised as a Bennet or a Bennet raised as a Fitzwilliam ... I don't recall any actual murders but kidnappings ruled the day. I was amused by Wickham's end.I started The Cliffs of Hertfordshire but haven't finished -- too many started already.

I am sure all of us recognize tongue-in-cheek conversation with all the reading we do. Jeanne, as usual, was just attempting to raise a ruckus and she succeeded. Good for you, Jeanne.
It's what I do... I think I was born under the ruckus sign. It doesn't appear on any of the astrological charts. After I was born, they did surgery to repair that tongue-in-cheek problem. You'd never know it by looking at me now.

Oh yeah... I forgot about that. I was supposed to be born around the 11th or 13th but, lingered in the quiet solitude of my natal sanctuary. I was probably reading as I attempted to reach my first challenge level.
Hmm. Audiobooks? Or a back-lit Kindle? Speaking of which, my MIL mailed me my Kindle AND my paperback from my recent trip to Boston. Phew! I've been surviving on my old Kindle, which is only supposed to be for upstairs!
