Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 7583 comments From the New York Times bestselling author of Into the Storm, Breaking Point, and Hot Target comes Brockmanns latest thrilling new novel in the Troubleshooters series, featuring Florida private eye Ric Alvarado.

Judy | 2571 comments Wow! This was another page turner in this series. As I got close to the end last night, I couldn't put it down and was up till midnight finishing it.

I liked how Brockmann linked the romance of private investigator Ric Alvarado and Annie Dugan to that of FBI agent Jules Cassidy and Robin Chadwick through the plot of the story. Again, I feel Brockmann does a wonderful and tasteful job of dealing with the gay issue in this book. I'm glad that Jules and Robin could finally reach some resolution in their relationship. They are both likeable and believable characters and true heroes in this book.

Dee, if I am the only one reading this series, you don't need to continue to do a buddy read for my benefit. I plan to finish the series and am excited because I see that the 17th book in the series Some Kind of Hero (Troubleshooters, #17) by Suzanne Brockmann is coming out on July 11. I also noticed that the next book All Through the Night (Troubleshooters, #12) by Suzanne Brockmann is about Jules and Robin's wedding.

Eve (everf) | 815 comments I've tried this series but for some reason it just did not capture my attention...perhaps because I also started with In Death series at the same time and Eve&Roarke had kinda bigger appeal.

Judy, did you know that J.D. Robb group does also Susan Brockmann's Troubleshooters series under "2016/2017 Group Series Read"? Well, they are a couple of books ahead of us but there's going on more active discussion regarding this series and I think its worth to peek into there :)

Judy | 2571 comments Eve, thanks so much for that information. I checked it out and enjoyed the discussion that the group had on Force of Nature (Troubleshooters, #11) by Suzanne Brockmann . Many of their thoughts mirrored mine.

I'm a huge J.D. Robb fan, so will have to follow those discussions as well.
