Partners will be assigned on the same day

Guidelines:
- In this challenge, participants are required to sign up first.
- The participants will later be paired up randomly
- You will find who your partner is below, once the pairings are posted
- Participants need to CHOOSE & READ at least one book that your partner has read (from their read shelves)
- When you finish, compare the rating your partner has given to the book and your rating.
- You complete the challenge when you finish reading the book. You will get one "complete" towards earning a prize!

Hi to Annie from China, this is your partner, Anne, from Austin, TX. I have chosen to read 'What Lies Beyond the Stars' from your shelf. This is a new discovery for me, and I'm really excited! The cover drew my attention, it's beautiful. The story line sounds intriguing, and it's interesting to read that the author is an actor and film-maker. I was excited to see the book setting of Mendocino, California. I just returned from vacationing there 2 weeks ago, and I can totally see it as a place of transformation for human spirit, it's breathtakingly beautiful there! Looking forward to this read!!

I looked at your read-shelf and I must say that although you don't have a large collection, you sure have a good one. There are quite a few books that I'd like to read. However, for the July CCC I chose to read I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. You rated it 5 stars. I can't wait to read it!

I can say the same about you read-shelf, especially with the classics like Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Slaughterhouse-Five and many more. It took me some time to decide it is 1984 that I'm going to read this month :) which got 5-Stars from you.

However, if you think I should read one of the others before this, I'll be happy to change my choice.

I'm so glad we were able to pair ourselves up for this challenge. Maybe next month I'll get signed up before the cut-off. However, I'm super excited about reading The Obsession by Nora Roberts from your Read list. Can't wait to see what you pick from my list.

I have chosen to read A court of thorns and roses by Sarah J. Maas from ur list, first of the series.

P.S. : I am a girl not a boy.

I finished I Am Legend and rated it 5 stars, just like Aesaan. I really loved the ending.
Since this was relatively short, I may also give a chance to The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.

I finished Phantom Evil on Thursday, but haven't had time to update this thread; Myra gave it a 5 and I gave it a 4. (I'm super stingy with my 5 ratings.)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am grateful to have been introduced to this series. My friends and I are making this our first book club discussion book.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this book. I have read two other books in this series and enjoyed them, as well. The storyline in each book is unique and offers an opportunity to learn more about different members of the team. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

I think its totally awesome that your book club group is going to make this their first book. Please let me know what everyone thinks.
