The Page Turners discussion

I read this trilogy before the movies came out, and thought it a great dystopian world. I loved the first two books, but the last one was a little too political for me, and so I had to really force myself to finish it. I have seen all of the movies as well, and thought that "Catching Fire" was excellent. "The Hunger Games" was a bit disappointing, because one of the scenes I like in the book (the weredogs at the end) was poorly filmed. "Mockingjay: Part I" was fantastic, and I preferred the movie to the book! It's not often I say that. I will definitely be seeing the second part later this year.

I loved the first book in the series, but it seemed like it really went downhill from there and Collins was simply continually reviving old ideas.
