Goodreads Ireland discussion

Ok, I had to have a look at some Goodreads lists for this but I will nominate Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. This is the first book I read by Anne Rice (I haven't read that many, I know) but I really liked it and I also liked the film with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. What does anybody else think? We could try reading the book and watching the film to get alternative views, perhaps?

I will nominateWhite Teeth by Zadie Smith . It won the Costa first book prize in 2000.

Interesting one with Interview with the Vampire. I'd second if it hadn't already been done. I've rad most of the series and spinoffs.
Film is an odd one. Generally quite entertaining but some weird casting , Antonio Banderes playing an early teen Russian Vampire was a bit of an oversight

I loved this book. I think it was the best of Anne Rice's vampire books.
