Here's what I could find Linda:
SLAM TV has acquired the option to develop a TV series based on the Maisie Dobbs novels by award-winning New York Times Bestselling author, Jacqueline Winspear. SLAM TV is a new UK-based production company founded by actors Stephen Mangan (Episodes) and Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead). Commenting on the acquisition, Mangan said, “We are hugely excited to be working with Jacqueline Winspear on this series of books. There has never been a female character like Maisie Dobbs in period drama, she has huge appeal for a modern television audience and the potential to be a truly iconic screen figure. We can’t wait to get started on these wonderful stories.”

Ha! I'm a mystery in the exact same way. LOVE watching them, but read them seldom. And never spend much brain power trying to
figure them out!
