Let us know what you plan to read in July. This sucker for punishment has way too many books planned. Though if I make it I'll be very pleased at the amount of series I'll have up to date.

FBR
The Republic of Thieves - Series Up to Date
The Legion of Flame - Series Up to Date
The Curse of Chalion
House of Chains - Currently reading and need to finish in July. Hopefully.
Malice

Others
Small Favor (Dresden Files #10)- Series get up to date.
House of the Rising Sun - Book of the Month is SWBC
Thunder Bay - 2-3-4 Series Read

Ahdam (snowlocke) | 2429 comments I hear you I've got quite a bit planned next month with around 4/5 books to read but if I do it I would be dead chuffed.

Buddy Reads
The Eye of the World
Storm Front
The Way of Kings
The Novice (Read this but will join in discussion and full series hopefully)
The Fifth Season

Other books
Dissolution

Yep that's one hell of a month

Great selections there Ahdam. I really hope you enjoy Storm Front.

message 4: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 1578 comments I am trying really hard not to take on too many books next month. We will see how that goes.

FBR
Storm Front
The Way of Kings

Other Books
Theft of Swords
Unraveling

I think that's everything I have planned for the moment. If I finish Theft of Swords I will likely continue that series next month.

Finishing off from June:

Fall of Light
The Screaming Staircase

Buddy Reads:

Retribution Falls 7/1
The Novice 7/11
Dancer's Lament 7/20
The Fifth Season 7/26

I'm sure I'll fill something else in but after a June where I stuck to knocking off as many open series as I could I'm going to wing it this month.

Emelia | 105 comments Outlaw
Holy Warrior
King's Man
Warlord: A Novel of Robin Hood
Grail Knight

The Little Country
The Mystery of Grace
Spirits in the Wires

The Crown Tower
The Rose and the Thorn
Avempartha
and all the other Michael J. Sullivan books.lol

Just finished Age of Myth and it was brilliant!
So good I read it in a day ! I suggest it to anyone who likes MJS or likes fantasy and well written books. I have not been this involved with reading an author since David Gemmell who is my favorite author.

Would also suggest any and all Gemmell books. But especially the Rigante series and the Troy series. Brilliant writer. The Drenai series was most excellent as well.

I don't think I've ever read a David Gemmell book. Will have to look them up!

I totally cried. It really was the pinnacle of character writing. Not one person was 100% a hero and really I could gush all day long. I've been poking at (really just smothering) people forever to try to make them read it too...

message 20: by Tammie (new)

Tammie | 5948 comments MJS is one of my favorite authors too. I need to try something by Gemmell.

lol......I too demand that people read it.....if they would only listen!
Maybe if I didn't duct tape them to chairs they might actually be able to read Troy lol

Gemmell's writing style is just incredible...he grabs you and takes you on the journey with the characters. Just can't say enough about the Troy series Margret !
So happy to find someone who has read the series ! I will tell Santa to be extra kind to you this Yule lol.
