A love out of time. A spaceship built of secrets and murder.

Seventeen-year-old Amy joins her parents as frozen cargo aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed and expects to awaken on a new planet, three hundred years in the future. Never could she have known that her frozen slumber would come to an end fifty years too soon and that she would be thrust into the brave new world of a spaceship that lives by its own rules.

Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone—one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship —tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn't do something soon, her parents will be next.

Now Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.

Alrighty, so I read this book before but I can't remember a single thing about it. So I'm going into this blind. I did read a good portion of this book yesterday while I was out at a mudding event so I wrote down what I wanted to post on here.

Chapter one, what Amy describes is terrifying, I don't know if I could ever be able to deal with being awake for that long and not being able to do literally anything.

Page 29 (view spoiler)[We lost com with Sol-Earth during the plague, and have not been able to regain it" That is a scary thought, they have no idea what Earth is like anymore. I mean imagine that they went 300 years away, look how much can change in 100 years could you imagine somehow getting back to earth after 300 years and seeing how it has progressed.

And anything you would do on the new planet you're headed to, would be like ancient compared to the original Earth, if it still existed. (hide spoiler)]

This book wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I remember loving it the last time but this time... I have so many questions and I just want to know the answers, but I wish I liked it more :/ maybe the next book will be better? It was interesting enough but it's just missing a certain writing style that makes you LOVE it. The ideas behind the story are interesting enough.

I'm reading/and listening to the audiobook while I do dishes and I hate the guy narrator for Elder. I also hate Elder so it makes sense LOL but he is ANNOYING.

The first half of this book was boring and dragged, not only did Elder annoy me like usual but Amy was starting to get on my nerves to. As soon as page 219 came around though, it was all uphill from there. I am so excited to finally see this part of this adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
