Category
:

1. Vacation: Since many people take their vacations this time of year, read a book in which the main characters take theirs. You could read a book with a title that sounds like a vacation place.
2.National Anti-boredom Month: July is National Anti-Boredom Month. Let's not get bored by reading a book that you're excited about and that excites you enough to rate it four stars.
3.More Than 31 Flavors: July is National Ice Cream Month. Read a book that celebrates ice cream. You can look here at facts about ice cream and use one of these, or you could read a book that reminds you of ice cream in a unique way. https://www.ecreamery.com/amazingly-s...
4.I Forgot Day: July 2nd is I Forgot Day. To celebrate this day dedicated to forget things you don't want to remember. Read a book where a lead character has amnesia or has forgotten events in their life.
5.Canada Day: July 1st or the first non-Sunday of July is the day to honor Canada becoming self-governing in 1867. Read a book that is about or takes place in Canada, has a character who is Canadian, or is written by a Canadian author.
6.Hot!Hot!Hot!: Since July is full of hot days and there is a holiday called Sidewalk Egg Frying Day, let's read a book that features hot weather, is set in a hot place, or has a cover that reminds you of hot weather.
7.You Work too Hard: July 5th is Work-a-Holic Day. The day for those of us who have the bad habit of being a workaholic. Read a book about a work addict.
8.Be Geeky and Proud!:July 13th is Embrace Your Geekness Day. To celebrate, read a book that represents an aspect of your particular geeky nature.
9Fool's Paradise: July 13th is also Fool Paradise's Day. Fool's paradise is defined as "a state of happiness based on a person's not knowing about or denying the existence of potential trouble." Read a book that represents this concept in some way to you.
10.In The All-Together: July 14th is National Nude Day, a day to celebrate the beauty of naked human body. Read a book that has a character who spends some time nude outside of the shower or bathtub.
11.Moon Day: July 20th is the day to honor the first men to walk on the Moon: Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin, Jr. You can read any science fiction novel, a book set in space, or even a book about an astronaut or a rocket scientist. You could even read a book with a character with any of the names of the first men on the moon.
12.Choose One: Choose one of the the holidays and read a book to represent that day: Pandemonium Day, Ugly Truck Day, Cousins Day, All or Nothing Day, International Day of Friendship.
