I'm up for reviewing anything. My to read shelf is being held up by duct tape, construction screws and liquid glue, but I always open space on the front-end for ARC's

Soon as this group picks up speed and more authors become aware of its existence, I bet you will get a deluge of ARCs. Be careful what you wish for!

BTW... I can and do go through a 3-400 page book a day. Yes.. you read that right. I average a book read a day.

I'm a bit jealous at that. I wish I had that kind of speed reading talent.

I have a collection of six stories set in virtual reality, https://www.amazon.com/Eternal-Voyage...
Although it says LitRPG in the title, only one of the stories is pure LitRPG.
The audio book version has just been released and I have been given some promotional codes for free downloads for reviewers. So I'd welcome it if someone were willing to listen and review.
You're welcome to email me for the code. conorkostick at gmail dot com.
Thanks!

I wouldn't call it a beta.
It's a proofed and edited version of the completed work, without final print editing.

Ah, poor word choice. I mean pre-read rather than beta read before release, but I think you undersood what I meant. Good to know.

It's speculative sci-fi, and the gear is linked via EEG to brainwaves.
It's also about the addictive nature of gaming.
Progression to brave reviewers!

Lol. Did the narrators sound like chipmunks?

Hello R.K.!
I brought your question to the attention of our Discord server, and one insightful person had this to say:
"I think if the author says something like -
'I just joined Goodreads and I was very flattered to discover that there were already X ratings on book XYZ. If you have read it and would like to leave a review as well I would be really grateful, as I’d love to hear what people think.'
Stuff like that is perfectly fine."
and
"...if an author contacts me personally and asks me to review something -- that's kinda tacky."
As for my thoughts on the matter, sending out a general message in a promotional area is certainly not tacky. No matter if your book has been out a year or whatever. The reader is certainly not obligated to leave a review, however, asking means that someone may discover a new LitRPG that they might enjoy.

Interestingly enough, I'd not seen your book before (pulled it off your profile, and since it was in kindle unlimited, I grabbed it and started reading. I suspect I'll have 4 stars for this one. It's funny as hell, and it's a decent story so far, (chapter 6 at the moment), so do'n't worry, you already have at least one more review coming. :)

Hah! That's awesome, I am glad you like it. I am surprised you hadnt seen it though, as I thought I was spamming it all over the place hehe. I hope you love it, and I look forward to your review here and hopefully on the Zon also!

Thanks for that insight! I really appreciate it. I am NOT new to Goodreads, but just new as an author. I really only used it to keep track of things I had read, and honestly didn't even know forums like this existed on it!
Pretty simple! If you are a READER who is interested in reviewing a LitRPG novel, I suggest creating a post titled Willing to Review with any preferences you have, like length, subject matter, etc.
If you are an AUTHOR who would like to distribute your ARC's, I suggest creating a post titled however you wish, and the body of the post detailing the number of reviewers you are seeking with a blurb or description of your LitRPG.
Hope this helps! Happy Reading 📚
