Victoria and Acadya's dorm in Marauders House. None may enter without their permission.

The room is the size of two bedrooms conjoined and has two sides. Each side has a bed, a desk with a chair, a closet and dresser, and a bedside table. There is a bathroom on the side.

Victoria hurried back to her room, feeling embarrassed about everything that happened. She hung her swords up in her closet and shut the door, then flopped down on her bed. She wondered if she should tell her older brothers about the earlier event or not. "But Harrison might tell Mom..." She pouted to herself. Unsure of what else to do, she remained flopped face-down on her bed, thinking to herself.

Victoria stared at herself in the mirror, trying to style her hair the same way her mother often wore hers, frowning a bit. No matter what she did, the affect just wasn't the same. Was it because her hair was curly and her mother's was straight? She just didn't know. She finally dropped her hands into her lap, frowning even more. The expression looked foreign and strange to her though, so she finally changed it into a smile as she just shrugged it off and put her hair up in her usual pigtails.

River and Bo were supposed to hang out earlier in the day but for some reason he wouldn't come out of his room.

She had tried to get the door open but it wouldn't budge either.

So she decided to do some investigating. Using her journalist skills and vampiric hearing she listened at each door to hear if anyone was inside. This was the first dorm that had someone inside.
She knocked three times, loud enough to hear but not so hard it would startle anyone. As she waited, she adjusted her shirt over her leggings. The uniform skirts were uncomfortable and the shirts weren't long enough on their own so she'd put one of her grey and black striped dresses underneath and managed to make it cute and comfy.

Now that she was a student she liked to wear the uniform even when they weren't required to. At least parts of it.

((Oh I see. I thought we were supposed to do the newspaper thing but I'm still glad I said something haha))

Victoria was just finishing up putting her hair in pigtails when the knock on her door came. At first she wondered if it was her roommate before reasoning she likely wouldn't knock. Maybe it was one of her brothers! She smiled and eagerly opened the door to greet them, only to hang her head and appear more awkward as she realized it was someone she hadn't really interacted with much.

"Oh, hi!" River greeted a bit too eagerly.
She lowered her energy slightly to get down to business.
"You're the only one that's been in your dorm so far and I have some questions."

She smiled politely as she was meant to do but still held herself nervously. "What sorts of questions?" Did she somehow get in trouble again? "Do you need my roommate instead? My brothers might be more helpful,"

"No, I was just wondering if you'd heard anything odd lately in the halls? Did anything seem out of the ordinary?" River asked her.
She was pretty worried about why Bo refused to see her. Especially her.

"Odd? Sometimes I hear yelling...but it could just be people cheering about their latest heroics or something of that nature," Victoria suggested. "I am housed in the place for such people,"

"Yelling," River repeated, nodding as she listened. It wasn't exactly something but it was possible there was a problem.

"Is there anyone in particular acting strange?"

"Not really...I rarely see my roommate but that is hardly strange, perhaps she is just not very social," She offered.

"Most people don't see each other due to the time passing in this world. Unless you interact regularly, people can go months without seeing someone that shares their same space," River recited, remembering that part from the handbook.

"Maybe you should leave your roommate a note."

((Lol Acadya hasn't moved in yet, really.))

"It'd be the polite thing to do, but perhaps she really is just not very social and would take offense to my note," Victoria didn't even notice the word-for-word statement. "But perhaps she's not so maybe I should,"

River smiled at her dedision to possibly do what she suggested. She adjusted the hem of her dress under her uniform shirt again, a subconscious habit at this point.

"My cousin is new in this dorm and he's having a rough time. If you do happen to notice him or anyone struggling, will you tell the Marauder's caregiver? I know she can help," she said, aware that her aunt would be able to get Bo what he needed. Hopefully.

Victoria nodded again. "Yes, if you say so," She didn't really wish to cause even more trouble but it was the right thing to do, yet again. "What would 'struggling' look like? Aloof?"

"Oh, um, probably upset. Crying or distressed. My cousin usually does a lot of pacing. If you see him covered in dirt or his clothes torn up he definitely needs help," River said.

"Uh..." She smiled nervously at that, unsure of how to deal with someone like that. "Is he hurt? Mother knows lots of advanced healing. Maybe she could help,"

"No, I don't think so. He can turn into a wolf but he can't control when it happens yet," River tried to explain.

"Like a werewolf? Mother told me about them," Victoria really was unsure of what to do at that point. How would she properly deal with an actual werewolf running around who needed her help?

"Yes and no. I don't know how to explain. His dad- my uncle- was a wolf that was given the power to turn human. And now Bo can turn into a wolf but because it's, like, backwards it's not working right. You don't have to do anything except get the caregiver for help," she clarified at the girls expression.

"Okay," She felt even more confused than before but knew it wouldn't be very polite to pry so she just nodded. "I promise I'll do that if I see something strange,"

River shook her head. This was really not going how she had intended. Thinking very hard, she wondered if she could try her hand at persuasion.
"Forget I was here. But not what was said."

Victoria blinked and slowly nodded. Her mind was still filled with werewolves as she curtsied out of habit and closed the door to her dorm.

River almost cheered. It had never worked before. Maybe she was coming into her power. She decided she'd try with Bo again, even if she had to break the door down.

Acadya stood to the side as River passed her in the hallway. She gave a small polite curtsy before going onward to what was now her dorm room. If she wasn't mistaken, the girl she just passed had come from her room.

She opened the door and stuck her head in before fully entering. "Hello. My name is Acadya Marie Novalian-Lupin, princess of the Modulon Kingdom."

Victoria had gone back to her vanity, trying to adjust the hat on her head when she heard the door open, glancing to see who it was. Did that girl come back? She turned around fully and curtsied almost instantly to be polite. "You must be my mysterious roommate, I am Victoria Raijin," She gave a polite smile.

"I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself before now. My parents are still here visiting my siblings so I've been with them all this time." Acadya gave her a polite smile and looked around at the decorated half of the room. It was very princess-y, similar to what Acadya had at the palace.
She glanced over at the empty half of the room. "Is this side mine then?"

"Yes, you can make it look like whatever you like," She nodded. "Is there anything I could help with? Since you are new and all,"

"Did you put in a request for all of your decorations?" Acadya asked her. "Or did you bring them from home?"

She had not done that and was sure it would take quite a while for any of her things to arrive in this world.

"Both?" She tried to think about it. "I got some things delivered but most of it was easy because Mother teaches here so she could've sped the delivery up or made things easier to locate, I am not sure. But my dresses and swords came from home!"

"Oh! Really? My uncle is a teacher here. And my aunt works in the office," she said, remembering.

"Is there some sort of registry or catalog I could look at?"

"Yes!" She nodded as well but didn't elaborate further. "For room things? Maybe you could ask our House caretaker? She might know," She wanted to be more helpful but didn't know what else to do.

"Oh, alright. I will do that," Acadya said nicely.
"I really like the way you decorated your side. It reminds me of home."

Victoria smiled more nicely at that instead of her usual polite, helpful smile. "Thank you! It's meant to remind me of my room at home too. It's very me so I'm proud of it,"

"Are you a princess?" Acadya asked her. The style certainly seemed like it.

She shook her head. "No!" Was it alright to say what she was to a stranger though? They were roommates so she wasn't a total stranger, and she assumed the students knew what her mom was, but at the same time she felt like she talked enough, so Victoria just remained silent.

"Oh," Acadya replied, wringing her hands at Victoria's reaction. "You just have a regal style."

"Thank you!" She smiled politely again. "It's just like my mother's,"
