Thoughts on the Royal family:
Emperor Alexius
Empress Irene
Princess Anna

Even though the Emperor is a weak man, I am beginning to like him. He seems to regret the error of his ways. Irene is a non-entity and Anna is full of herself.

Agelastes meets his fate in a very strange manner indeed.

This book has one of Scott's less plausible plots, but it is a lot of fun.
