About Me: I'm a huge fan of the original trilogy by Mr Ludlum. I dislike the movies because they have no relation to the books.
My question is, are Eric Van Lustbader's books any good or is he just using the Bourne franchise to earn money (like the movies)?
I'm asking because his books are bestsellers and can be seen everywhere and my interest is piqued. The doubt I have is because as the summary of the bourne legacy says, Alex and Dr Panov are dead (I loved their characters). Is this a one off thing and he really pays homage to Ludlum or does he just keep destroying the things that made the original trilogy so good?
Hi Siddharth, i read the last book of the Trilogy, and two of the new ones, in which Jason Bourne seems younger, and sometimes the authors mentions events that happened after 2000, he talks a lot of the relations between the nsa, and the cia. I enjoyed the bourne sanction, it was a great book, Arkadine s charater and many others are very interested, i also liked the bourne deceptin, i m going to read the bourne objective. i didn t read the books before these ones, but i can say that Van made a good job, you should give it a try :)
