Carolina Echavarría (carolinaep) | 2 comments I really love everything Leigh Bardugo writes, so I back up that The Six of Crows Duology Boxed Set is wonderful, but I'm currently reading Ruin and Rising, the last book in the Grisha Triology and I've loved every book, but it really has some mixed reviews. I also love The Queen of the Tearling trilogy (it was mind blowing) and last but not least because is such a wonderful book The Night Circus. I hope this helps you :)

message 48: by Zaara (last edited Sep 14, 2017 09:04PM) (new)

Zaara The Six of Crows duology Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1) by Leigh Bardugo by Leigh Bardugo is pretty much all I've read in YA fantasy, along with the Harry Potter novels and the Earthsea novels by Ursula K Le Guin. These are all very good.
For short standalones, I'd recommend anything by Robin McKinley. If you like fairytale retellings try Rose Daughter by Robin McKinley
For more traditional sword and sorcery fantasy try The Blue Sword (Damar, #1) by Robin McKinley
Cinder (Lunar Chronicles) is on my TBR.
