Coming up for the month of August, we get to discover one of the new kids on the horror block. Tim Meyer will be joining us as we read his short story collection, Worlds Between My Teeth. He's also offering to give us free copies of Worlds Between My Teeth to everyone that signs up for the August read. That's right. Absolutely FREE! All that we ask is that you participate in the discussion and, when you're done, you post an honest review on Amazon and here on Goodreads. That's it! That's awesome! I was born and raised in Toms River and still live close to the area. I've tried to escape the Shore area several times without success. I hope you enjoy the read!

I live in Jersey too! Spent many of summers at the shore. My best friend lives in Howell.

Hi Tim! I've been to Toms River many times. My best friend's uncle lives there and we've gone over for parties and such.

Tim, can you tell us a little about how you got into writing and who some of your influences were?

Hey Ken! I've been writing since as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always wanted to write screenplays and comic book scripts. In my late-teens, I got serious about writing short stories and novels, and never looked back.

Early on, I was a huge R.L. Stine fan and read every Goosebumps book (even those terrible Choose Your Own Goosebumps stories!). Later on I discovered Peter Benchley, Michael Crichton, and of course, Stephen King. I could list hundreds of influences, but my big three are King, Robert McCammon, and Brian Keene.

I have just a bit left of my current book then I wil start reading Worlds Between My Teeth since it is a group read and discussion I am happy to be joining. Then back to my physical book to review, who new reading could be a core, but one of love. Thanks Jessica I am glad to know someone likes it I am going in blind, hoping to see a bright light.

You are welcome Tim Meyer it was truly the best of the ones I have read recently, I read 3 other short horror collections on kindle right before I joined and was not impressed. None of the stories you wrote seemed like the same old, retold stories , the others were just ok
