Greetings!
SO! One new feature for GRNW 2014 on Sept. 20, 2014 is that we will be holding writing workshops in the morning at the Seattle Public Library.
Any attendee made join a workshop, although each workshop will be focusing on writing.
(For those who prefer a more reader-centric activity, we'll be holding a reader meet-up in the auditorium in the morning as well.)
What workshops would you like to have?
Our current line-up of morning workshops include:
!- Ask a Librarian!
A Q&A period when writers can ask librarians questions about how to work with libraries.
2- Marketing and Author Persona
: Focusing on marketing tips and building/maintaining your author presence
3- How to write diverse characters
: How to tackle adding diverse characters and what are the questions you should be asking before starting
4- All the Things You Were Afraid to Ask Your Editor
: What editing errors to avoid and tips on working with editors
We can keep it at this group or add up to two more workshops.
What kinds of things related to writing and publishing would YOU like to have discussed?
Besides what we have above, what more would you like?
Let us know in the comments! We'll be finalizing programming in July, so all your thoughts are welcome! :D
