I feel like it was right around this point that I started to really become invested in the story and sped ahead! The rest isn't nearly as daunting!!

For me, it was around this point that the characters settled in, and we got to learn more about their unique personalities. That's really what makes this book for me. A lot of times, I find myself reading books and finding they project the same visual image as another character from another book, or sometimes even a movie, but not with Infinite Jest for some reason.

Ruthiella I find I am loving and looking forward the rehab house/AA meeting moments with Don Gately. And, yes, it is getting easier to read and more compelling the deeper I go. Still, it takes me twice (maybe three times even) as long to read compared to "normal" books.
