Troy (tramsay) | 30 comments Cate Blanchette would make a good Avril I.

Ruthiella I am only 137 pages in and I don't have any particular vision regarding what the charachters look like except Hal. I see him as a younger DFW. But surely David Lynch would have to be given consideration as the director.

The only real choice.

Steve | 3 comments Ha, I love the DFW-turning-in-his-grave aspect to this.

It wasn't til I thought about this that I noticed how many physically extreme people there are in this book. It'd be fun to see the cast all standing together. I suppose that one's physical limitations are a bit of a theme of the book.

Huge: Don, Steeply, Marathe, the Antitois, Kittenplan
Tall: Jim, Avril
Small: Tavis, Mario, Tina Echt, Tiny Ewell
Beautiful: Joelle, Avril

Any more?

Meagan | 25 comments I was thinking of Tilda Swinton as Avril and Jodie Foster as Pat. clearly Tilda needs to be in there somewhere.

Meagan | 25 comments Sam Rockwell as Lenz and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Green.

message 8: by Troy (new)

Troy (tramsay) | 30 comments Paul Giamatti as Tavis, maybe?

Meagan | 25 comments Adrien Brody as Himself.

message 10: by Meagan (new)

Meagan | 25 comments Jennifer Lawrence as Joelle.
