I finished last night. I have questions, of course lol. I want more books in this series. How is everyone doing?

GGRrrrrrrr I probably should post this in "get it off your chest" thread.I was on the hold list for the audiobook for a while, I was hoping to get it before the start of buddy read. Imagine my excitement when I got the email last night that it's available!!
I opened the app clicked on download and it tells me to log in again. I did and I got the message that my library card has expired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to go to a branch and show them an ID to get my membership renewed! and the closest branch is in the next town over :((((((((((((((((((((((((((( I've never felt so unlucky in my life.
Ugh that is frustrating. I would be pissed too. Sorry :(Isn't there a way to renew it over the phone? Like give them your SS or something to prove you are you?

No I called but they were really sorry and the only way to renew it was to go to a branch :( I'll be going tomorrow
That really sucks! Hope everything can get solved and you can get the book tomorrow!

Speaking of "getting it off your chest"... Worked an 18 hour day yesterday...ugh. Granted, the last few hours were dinner / networking... but still. Long drive home. I told my boss I'm "semi-retired" - the operative word being "retired." LOL!

My father in law has gone back to work too after being retired for a few years, he's consulting . He says he was bored which is the official reason. But I think he's doing to take some breath away from MIL LOL
I'll wait to say anything or ask my questions. I finished the book but have some minor questions.

Catalina's and Alessandro's story, I have a feeling there is a love interest story there. They are the right age.
I hope there is book 4. I know it depends how the series does overall $ wise. I am hoping they decide to write another one.
Real Life has been kicking my butt. However, I have a few days off, so... hopefully, I'll start tomorrow.

Okay. I started this yesterday. Man-oh-man! That grandmother is a trip. Lots of good stuff in this one. Love the "cat." LOL! Of course, I'm still in love with Conner; however, if he left me right after sex to go tend his ex's kids... no matter how noble... I'd be completely and totally miffed, too.

Yup. The moment I read the last line I was sure it was (view spoiler). He fits the criteria for Caesar perfectly, the way David had described Caesar in White Hot. What I couldn't wrap my mind around was Victoria was trying to get in touch with Nevada all along. However, going about it the wrong way. I mean it seems she will help her and was in her own twisted way making sure she was Prime material, strong etc.. But, by sending all these people to hurt her? Then her implying she wasn't trying to hurt her. Or did I understand it wrong?
Not to mention, what happened with Kelly? We know she didn't get captured. Where did she hide?
I feel there is more to it that just the "Rome" aspect of the story. I mean, it looked like it was all about Rogan and Nevada. More personal to both of them and their families. Or was it cuz Rogan made himself involved? Or cuz Kelly was trying to make him "pay" for it all.
I want to know more about Michael and the Keeper.
I had completely forgotten about Kelly! There should have been some closure on that.
