of a group or people who would like to discuss this. I'm 300 pages into this bad boy and it has become the most important book I've ever read in my life.

Even if people just want to share thoughts in this thread that would be cool. It is a CRIME it is not in eBook or digital format yet.

French just passed away a couple of years ago. I feel so sad. She was a powerhouse of a thinker and feminist. If anyone has any links to stuff about her please post them.

I'm also reading The Women's Room and I finished Vol 4 of From Eve to Dawn with the other 3 on my TBR list.

Hi Coral, we haven't read that book as a group here, but it looks interesting. I did read The Women's Room not that long ago and really liked it. I've been meaning to check out other things by French, but still haven't gotten around to it. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy of Beyond Power.

Thanks! There's a lot there to discuss and it should be digital, most of her books are. You can check out one copy through the Open Library for 14 days but that wouldn't work so I found a used paperback on Amazon.

Sorry I haven't been able to join in the group readings. Life. :( But next month I can join in for The Vegetarian! After Nov. I should be back to reading more. :-)

Great, looking forward to you joining us. I read The Vegetarian not too long ago and am curious to see what others think of it!
