Jill (esperanzaj) Time for those last minute summer vacations! To get you in the mood, let's read books about travel. Maybe try a travel memoir by Bill Bryson or Paul Theroux or accounts of famous explorations. You could also read a novel set in an far-flung locale or about a character making a long journey. Or you could always choose something that transports you through space and time. Here are some suggestions to get you started!

In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson The Last Train to Zona Verde My Ultimate African Safari by Paul Theroux Explorers The Most Exciting Voyages of Discovery -- From the African Expeditions to the Lunar Landing by Andrea De Porti On the Map A Mind-Expanding Exploration of the Way the World Looks by Simon Garfield Too Bright to Hear Too Loud to See by Juliann Garey Death on the Aegean Queen (Dotsy Lamb, #3) by Maria Hudgins Trains and Lovers by Alexander McCall Smith The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger The House on the Strand by Daphne du Maurier
