I just finished the novel and I really enjoyed it! I did think it got off to a bit of a slow start, but I think it really picked up fast and got interesting. I also got to discover more about my culture because, as an Indian-American, I was checking with my mom at parts I didn't recognize, so I got to learn more of our mythology which was a really cool aspect of reading this. I have to say I think the author really went at it with big plot points (and I loved that weirdly?) - I thought finding out who Varun's character really was and when Amrita stopped existing as a human were the two most shocking things to me. Basically, I just really liked this novel, but I'm also somewhat biased to be fair. These are just my initial thoughts as I literally finished this like 10 minutes ago, but I'd love to see what some of y'all think! :)
