This book is really interesting if you want a good read into different perspectives of people and their lives. This book allows you to take in different characters' personalities and makes you adapt to the way they live. This book is mainly about 8 characters lives and hardships through high school. The school kids make a list of the pretty, ugly, unpopular kids, and other labels, etc. Each character in the book is labeled either ugly or pretty, and the story begins after the characters are labeled, and you get to see how they live with it.
The 8 characters (all girls), all live with the label through their daily lives until the important homecoming dance. Overall the story is interesting to see how the girls think and react to the list, the book in a way can be uncomfortable to those prone or sensitive to bullying because of the harsh labels. The book involves a bit of explicit teenage action, but overall good for readers to understand. If you have a good memory and can remember most of the characters' situations, (knowing there's 8 characters to remember) , then this book will be quite exciting for you. I recommend this book to mature teenagers, but not adults.
