Isn't The Mortal Instruments Urban Fantasy?

Christopher So I asked a question on Yahoo Answers that involved The Mortal Instruments and Percy Jackson and I put them as Urban Fantasy and someone is arguing that they're not Urban Fantasy. But clearly they are. They have settings of Urban Fantasy and they're listed as such. Cassandra Clare has even stated The Mortal Instruments is Urban Fantasy. So what do you guys think here? Because I'm pretty sure both The Mortal Instruments and Percy Jackson are indeed Urban Fantasy.
