Thank you! I'm glad to be here. :-)

You're too kind. Thank you so much!

No problem, Vicki. Thanks for having me! The cover was designed by Ben Baldwin. All I suggested to him was "something with hands," and this is what he created. He's amazing.
He's created many of the covers for Crystal Lake Publishing, but more recently, he created the cover for a little-known book called "Gwendy's Button Box" by some dudes named Richard Chizmar and Stephen King. ;-)

* Count me in for a .mobi file. Many thanks for the generous price for your collection of 'Ugly Little Things' & I look forward to it.

Thank you, Sheri! If you'll pardon the pun, I'm an open book. Ask me anything!

Hey, Dawn! It contains those original four stories from the previously-released V1, but it also has seven new ones, including a novella. :-)
Finished A Man in Your Garden. Quite a clever method of storytelling. Todd, how did this tale come about?

Thanks, Ken. "A Man In Your Garden" started as a writing exercise for myself. I hadn't written anything in a few months prior to that story, so I wanted to stretch my legs and get back into the practice of writing regularly. All I had was a prompt that I'd given myself, "There's a man in your garden." The story took shape from there.

Thanks, Kimberly. I'm glad it had an effect! :-)

(view spoiler)

Ah. Thanks. I guess it just didn't register for me.

Sorry I couldn't get to this sooner. Kimberly summed it up in her comment, but I'll expound: (view spoiler)
Hope that helps clarify! Glad you're enjoying it so far, Erin!

Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far!

It does, thank you. And I look forward to your Friday event.
Show Me Where The Waters Fill Your Grave seems a little more chilling and prophetic considering the weather situation approaching us.

I will be posting a review for this one over the weekend. :)

No problem! I'm happy to do this! :-)

I wrote it during last year's hurricane season, when all that flooding was happening down south. I read an article about coffins floating down the street. Everything else fell into place from there...

Thank you, Kimberly! I'm glad you enjoyed the stories! Karen's story is one of my personal favorites as well, for the same reasons. Her character came to life so quickly and easily that I was able to write the story in a day. I was exhausted by the end--a ten-hour writing sprint will do that--but it was so worth it.

Great minds.... ;)

Thanks, man. Given the choice, I'd probably cast Carla Gugino as Karen. She's a little older than the Karen I imagined, but I think Gugino could pull off the ferocity required of the character. Then again, I'm not a casting director, so what the hell do I know? ;-)

Thanks, Kristy! I'm glad you enjoyed the stories!

Edit: TYPED!

Speaking of the launch party, in case you weren't able to make it, a recording is available on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J36bH...
Have a great week, everyone. Happy reading! :-)

Glad to hear it. That's the most personal story I've ever written. Only ever read it aloud once. That was enough.
Todd wrote: "Ken wrote: "I really connected with Saving Granny From The Devil."

Do tell! How did this story come about?
