Hobb-A-Long Read-A-Long discussion

I'm over 3/4 of the way done with this one at the moment and I'm loving it so much more than the first two!

On a side note, I may have convinced my husband that we should be Fitz and the Fool for Halloween (and our dog can be Nighteyes).

I started this today. I have only read the first chapter so far, but I thought it was a really strong opening.

Thanks! I finished this a couple of days ago and loved it.

I am halfway through and I'm really enjoying it. I do have some issues with the pacing, there are some parts where it slows down to little more than a crawl, but when it picks up, it's so good that it more than makes up for the slow parts.

I finished this last night. I gave it 4 stars in the end. It would have been 5 stars if not for the slow and meandering first half and a couple of dodgy decisions by Fitz. The second half was brilliant though. I have really enjoyed the Farseer trilogy, every book was a 4 star read for me. Fitz and the Fool are fantastic characters and I can't wait to reunite with them in the Tawny Man trilogy.
