Books2Movies Club discussion

It's old news now but Dexter was a book before it became the hit Showtime series. The book titles were generally alliterative gems and the killer wasn't quite as well developed as the TV character. In some ways the show was better than the book series - (what do you expect with so many talented people working on it?) but the books are worth checking out. And it's a bit of a spoiler but (view spoiler)[not all the TV series characters make it out of the first book alive (hide spoiler)].

I've only read the first book and that was after I watched the first season. In my opinion, it is one of the best adaptations of a book.
