Are you guys ready to start this one? I'll be starting tomorrow after work.

I've read the first 10 chapters.

This seems like a nice and short story. The kind you can just enjoy and not think too much. However, I think it probably should be read in December. Would probably get me in the mood for Christmas!

It must be hard for Sierra (view spoiler)[ to have two separate lives. However, a month is not a very long time to spend away from your friends so I don't see why everyone's so upset about Sierra leaving. Of course it's Christmas and all and I understand her friends would like her to be around for big events like winter formal, but you would think they'd get used to her leaving. But maybe I'm not the best person to judge because I've spent long periods away from home and usually always work through Christmas etc. So maybe I've just toughened up 😁 (hide spoiler)]

I'd like to know (view spoiler)[Caleb's story. I think something bad happened but I'm not sure Caleb was to blame. I just don't know why he doesn't defend himself against the rumors if there's no truth in them. I think it'd very kind of him to deliver those trees to families that can't afford them. (hide spoiler)]

Seriously, this book makes me want to go and buy hot chocolate! Or try making one with the candy cane ☕🍭

Chapter 15

Ok....I guess what happened (view spoiler)[ between Caleb and his sister wasn't exactly his fault. I think their parents should have noticed that things weren't ok but they were suffering, too. I'm glad they got help as a family and have kind of moved past the incident. I also understand Jeremiah and his family being worried but somehow I think they're being too rude. That kind of behavior is hardly necessary. I like that Sierra's trying to help but I think she shouldn't interfere too much. It's a bit annoying how she keeps fighting Caleb's fights. I think (view spoiler)[ Rachel and Elizabeth got way too mad over Sierra missing the play. I have a feeling they'll soon forgive her. At least she was being honest with them. They just probably don't want to feel replaced by Sierra's California friends. (hide spoiler)]

I hope Sierra's meeting (view spoiler)[ with Caleb's family goes well. I also think Sierra and Caleb should have a talk with Sierra's parents that they would know the truth about what happened. (hide spoiler)]

I liked the Christmas atmosphere of this book. And the amount of peppermint mocha, which just happens to be my favorite coffee based drink 😁
I'm glad (view spoiler)[ things worked out fine for everybody but this was maybe even too sweet for my taste. Everybody was so happy and gave those perfect christmas presents, everything was forgiven and all the people just loved each other. Perfect for a time when you want to read romance! But I liked reading this and the story made me want to put up my christmas lights already and get all my scented candles out. At least I probably should start buying christmas presents already!
