I have a tendency to write when I get very emotional, so here are some random things that I wrote during those moments. Some are untitled, some are not, and some have been used as parts for my other works. Enjoy!

ON THE EDGE OF A PRECIPICE:

Carry on, I am yours
And you need no more reassurances,
Still you look back,
On the edge of a precipice
Sometimes we stand,
On the edge of a precipice
Time slows down
And the world stops spinning,
Halts on its axis,
Till we can slowly learn to breathe again.

Fading into the dying night,
Drifting above, defying gravity
Now she's a part of the brilliant star-studded sky
Detached from what used to hold her down
She embraces eternity.

Watch as dreams come to life,
For a few beautiful moments
All is perfect,
Just as you wanted it,
Your life enchanted,
Before reality barges in again.
