Thief discussion

I think this author is talented, but I really hate her characters. I don't think I have forgiven her for Mud Vein. Haha. So this is a challenge for me. I also found C J Roberts Captive in the Dark a gripping yet troubling read. It's not for feint hearted though. Be warned.

A MERIDETH WALTERS also is a great writer that tackles sensitive subjects. But I find her books manage to be heartwarming despite the often painful topics/situations. Reclaiming the Sand was my favorite.

Push by Claire Wallis was amazing, but has a major cliffhanger.

Avoiding series by K.A. Linde is also very good

Archers Voice by Mia Sheridan and Transcendence by Shay Savage were both really good. But they aren't quite as edgy or dark.

Yeahhh Archer's Voice definitely rocked my world this year. I highly recommend it :)

It's very angsty and twisty turney like Love me with Lies, but not as much of a mind-f***.

If you want something a little darker try the Monsters in the Dark series by Pepper Winters the Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz or The Art of D/s series by Ella Dominguez. All extraordinary authors who don't flirt around fluffy edges...this stuff is darker and more gritty than the Thief series but highly recommended - 5 star books

If you want something with lots of angst and long drawn out relationship over many years... I recommend
True Love Story.

This Much is True and The Truth about Air & Water by Katherine Owen is a very very similar feeling series. I really enjoyed it and the books gave me the same emotions Love Me with Lies did!
